
SCSI controller for the NASCOM
The chip used in this design is the Am53C80. Almost all logic is implemented in
PLDs. The design is very fast
as it uses bus master DMA. Transfer speed is limited only by the Am53C80 and, of
course, the target.
The EPROM contains the SCSI driver routines, which are loaded into RAM at boot
time.
The card also has a bi-directional parallel port.
